The last couple of times I’ve swung by the old neighborhood local, I’ve heard the Bs: Black Sabbath, Beck (both Mr. Jeff and Mr. Hansen), Beastie Boys, Beatles, Belle and Sebastian, Bowie, Blue Oyster Cult, Beirut. Obvs, other artists too, but I’m blaming bacon, beverages & bonhomie for biases.

Today meant picking up some fried chicken at the spot about a mile from home, then trying our luck with a drive over two bridges instead of one to get to book club. We got where we were going early, enjoyed the change of traffic scenery, and can even expect to be billed for a minor misunderstanding.
